Throwing course (Nina)


The course is suitable for everyone, regardless of level, but with a maximum of 8 participants.
Individual tuition is possible. We work from basic techniques to technical refinements and I try to meet you at your level. There is an electric wheel available for all participants and we work with a white stoneware clay.


Programme:

Day 1: We review throwing techniques and practice.

Day 2: We throw and save the best. Here we also go through handling/lid/feet/twisting.

Day 3: We finalise and possibly decorate the jars.

All three days are taught from 9:00 - 15:30

Price:

- A three-day course costs 450 € incl. clay to practice in. We do a potluck lunch, so everyone brings one item for a shared lunch table. I provide light and dark bread. There is tea/coffee/fruit for free use
- If you want your items to be fully fired (max. 8 items), it costs 30 €/kg for pre-annealing/firing and glaze. It is also possible to take the raw items home at the clay price of 2,80 €/kg.
